Nowhere! This is a fully online, remote learning course. It is not ‘delivered’ live at a venue, you simply download the course materials and then each week I email you your guides, schedules and resources for the next seven days.
All course material is delivered as an eBook download. You are not sent any physical books. To open the materials you will need your password from the course homepage (all passwords start with the letters “ywk”).

What is the one-on-one support?
Throughout the 12 weeks of the course I (Ross) personally offer you one-on-one email support. This support is unlimited, meaning you can email me as often as you like and my policy to this is:
“There is no question too small”
The only stupid question is the one you didn’t ask, so feel free to use me as much as you need to.
And yes, it is actually me answering all of your questions by hand. I am incredibly dedicated to make sure that your experience on this course is as successful as possible!
How quickly will I have to change? Is this course alkaline from day one?
The course starts quite gently and eases you into this lifestyle. In my extensive experience the people that succeed over and over are those who transition gently to the alkaline diet. Those who go ‘cold turkey’ and try to do everything at once have a success rate of around 5-10%.
I have been doing this long enough and with enough people, from all walks of life, to understand what does and what doesn’t work.
So in the first week you will be introduced to a few alkaline meals, the breathing techniques and some gentle exercise. You will be in charge of what you have for your main meals so you can go as easy as you like. This will also help you to transition to cooking alkaline if you are the only one choosing this type of diet in a family unit.
There will be focus on the fundamentals i.e. hydration, green foods, essential fats etc. but you will not really feel like you’re doing anything dramatic.
This course is so successful because the transition is gentle and it teaches you the fundamentals first and really makes those habitual before moving on.
What types of foods will I be eating?
You will be eating a really wide variety of fresh, live, vibrant, colourful foods. Fresh, crunchy salads will become a part of your daily life. You’ll be eating heaps of flavoursome vegetables, avocados, tomatoes, cucumbers, spinach, broccoli, carrots, beets, zucchini, eggplant, and sweet potatoes.
Imagine awesome wraps of tortilla filled with hummous or chunky salsa and salads. Think of lasagnes, Thai curries, fajitas, chilli and all of your other favourite meals. There are heaps of soups, smoothies and fresh juices. All delicious foods and they’re all really easy to prepare.
Don’t fear the alkaline diet – I make it easier than you think!
What types of drinks will I be drinking?
Living alkaline means being super-hydrated. You will be drinking lots of clean, pure water, herbal teas, juices, smoothies and, of course, ‘green drinks’.
I will insist that you really try to give up the sodas/fizzy drinks/colas straight away – I honestly can’t insist strongly enough how bad they are for you…in so many ways. If you do I promise you’ll feel the benefits from it within 48 hours.
I’d recommend you cut down on coffee. You don’t have to give it up completely, the same with alcohol and everything on this lifestyle, but start to treat it as a treat rather than a daily routine or habit.
Will I have to give up EVERYTHING…FOREVER?!
No, of course not. I think this is where I differ from most health, diet and alkaline diet experts and I think this is another reason why I get such a high success rate.
Here is my philosophy:
I believe that success with this lifestyle is guaranteed when you don’t change who you are at your core. You should still be social, you should still have treats, you should still be naughty, you should still enjoy life!
I guarantee that you are FAR more likely to succeed if you are 80% great and 20% relaxed than if you try to be 100% perfect.
Still go out for dinner. Still have a glass of wine. Still enjoy your espresso.
Life is about enjoyment and moderation in both directions is essential. Don’t feel that you’re giving up your life.
When you come from this perspective you will find that the more you become healthy, vibrant and alkaline the more you will ACTUALLY want to treat these foods and drinks as treats because you PREFER the feeling of living healthy.
What a great place to be!
I would never say you HAVE to do anything, listen to your body and remember: stress, guilt, deprivation, and all other negative emotions can be up to 10x more acidifying to the blood than diet.
Now this isn’t me giving you the green light to be as bad with everything as you are good. There are still things that I would definitely aim to transition away from as soon as possible such as tobacco, colas/sodas, saturated fats and deep fried foods, but you can certainly pick your treats so that you really enjoy them when you have them.
For instance, I really don’t ever drink fizzy drinks or eat candy. Ever. But if I go out to dinner I’ll be pretty relaxed with what I order. I’ll probably still get a great big green salad on the side, but I won’t be too shy with what I eat. And at the time I love it and feel really rewarded, and the next day I wake up and just get back on and have a nice vegetable juice and I’m away…
Try to take this philosophy forward with you. Treat treats as a treat, and just make the right decisions 80% of the time.
I promise you that you will be a lot happier and more likely to succeed with your diet.
I’m vegetarian/vegan, can I do the course?
Of course! The alkaline diet is essentially a vegan diet. You will love it! If you’re a meat eater and are now freaking out – don’t! A little lean meat is OK every now and then and you can eat fish with fair regularity.
As mentioned above, a little meat every now and then is OK. I personally do not, but I understand that for some of you this is a big, big thing. In the meal plans and recipes on the course there is no meat included, but you can add meat to any meal while you’re transitioning.
Oily fish (steamed or grilled) is better, and is a great way to transition away from heavier meats.
I’ve got allergies, can I do the course?
If you’ve got allergies this course is perfect for you. It is wheat, gluten, lactose etc. free and what’s more you’ll find that allergies may well start to disappear within a few weeks of starting it!
Will I be able to buy all of the foods at the grocery store?
Definitely. This was one of my complaints when I first started alkalizing and following the alkaline diet plans out there – I couldn’t find hardly any of the ingredients!
The meals are all prepared using simple ingredients that you can get at your local grocery store.
What supplements will I need and where can I get them?
The supplements you may need will vary depending on your situation, but I go through this in more detail in the Alkaline Diet Book download. The basics are:
- a green powder (a blend of grasses, vegetables, alkaline fruits and sprouts)
- pH drops to make your water more alkaline
- omega oils to give you essential fats every day
- a wide range multimineral containing the alkaline minerals: calcium; sodium; magnesium & potassium
