THE ORIGINAL LITTLE SPROUT was originally founded 3 years ago by Californian mum, Inga Tritt. Inga’s baby, Maya, suffered from painfully sensitive skin, a thick head of hair, along with a problem cowlick. Inspired by her daughter, along with Inga’s health driven lifestyle and expertise as a stylist & spa owner, Inga decided the solution was to create the safest and most natural products she possibly could for baby Maya. Do you harm animals in any way?
No, we never test on animals nor have we ever tested on animals as that we are disgusted by this practice in the industry. The only animal ingredient we use is lanolin in the Baby Hair Balm which is a natural emollient found in wool. Sheep are regularly sheered which helps them stay cool in the hot season.

Are your products natural?
We use superior natural bases along with the most gentle preservatives available. Since the FDA does not regulate the cosmetic industry in the US, we are proud to offer a professional higher standard and level of protection for your family. In fact, our formulas are approved and sold in the European Union. The EU has strict standards & does not import products that are that are strongly suspected of causing cancer, birth defects or fertility problems. The majority of products made in the USA do not meet these standards.
