I didn't actually realise that a lot of foods commonly thought of as vegetables actually turn out to be fruits.
For example,
Pumpkin
Squash
Cu***bers
Green beans
Capsi*** peppers
Bell peppers
Tomato (knew this was already)
I had no idea these were actually fruits! I can't find any others but post if you know any!
ha ha - i need to turn off some of the **** filters!

Hi George_2
I didnt know this! I thought it was just tomatoe and avocados! That is a shock! So dr young needs to change his list of alkaline fruits then!
D :)
Validation!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_vegetables
Shows that many of these are fruits (Pumpkins for example are herbaceous annuals fruits), but that these are all actually listed as vegetables in the culinary sense.
Sounds like a grey area to me!

From an acid/alkaline perspective, we are mainly looking to minimise sugar. So avoid all high sugar fruits/vegetables and stick to the low sugar ones.
Basicaly, avoid all fruits except lemon, lime, g****fruit, avocado. Once you are fully balanced you can have a small amount. Avoid high sugar veg like carrot and beetroot, again until you are fully balanced.
