Hi Ross
Just had a look at this week's resource "Getting up early" but my eyes nearly popped out of my head at getting up 2 hours earlier - I already get up at 5:50am for a 60-90 minute car journey to be at work for 8am. I am totally psyched about this course but my mind is really battling to grasp getting up at 4am (3-something is NOT an option!!), especially in winter, although summer would be cool, dawn is the best time of the day anyway. Just thinking in terms of chinese medicine organ body clock etc, do you have any suggestions for what is realistically the earliest good time to be getting up? Or is the simple answer early enough to fit everything in?
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy

Heh, you don't need to worry about it too much if you're already up at ten to six! It is more aimed at people who struggle to get up around 7-8.

My answer for when is best to get up early is a combination of:

- to get time to yourself to spend time in the morning productively (whether that means just taking time to yourself to read, exercise, learn something, email friends etc or get work done)

- to wake up feeling refreshed, positive and full of energy.

Try not to think of it only in terms of 'to fit everything in'! That is a reasonably accurate description for many people but it isn't too empowering!

I hope this helps a little - remember before you take on board anything I say, whether it be on here, on the course or anywhere else on the website it has to make sense to you and can always be adapted to your life and your cir***stances.

Have a great day, and a great weekend too
Ross
