My youngest daughter had her Gallbladder removed several years ago due to frequent gallbladder attacks. I'm encouraging her to use this pH balancing program. However, she said she already has trouble eating salads and roughage type fresh veggies. They tend to give her stomach cramps and multiple trips to the bathroom with loose stools..

Any suggestions or advice on this one :?:
Or where I can look for info?

Heh - you know I can't give 'advice' per se, but if it were me in that situation I would aim for consuming lots and lots of fresh, alkalising veggie juices - because they have had almost all of the fibre removed and are absolutely the easiest thing on our digestive system.

Remember - that is not medical advice from me - just what I would do if I were in her situation.

IF she still needs the fiber in her diet though - I would probably look for a gentle fibre supplement.

Not that I want you to leave this forum or anything - but try looking for a forum where others may have experienced the same thing.

She could try Yahoo! Answers:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061012221204AAizbm4

and I found these forums:

http://www.medhelp.org/forums/gastro/messages/35804.html
http://www.longnaturalhealth.com/discussion2.asp?T=29
http://www.askphysicians.com/cgi-local/forums.cgi?display=thread&id=5588&forum=33&interface=0

Maybe she might find some answers from someone elses posts?

Hope this helps!

Thank you, Ross. I read thru the sites you posted, but none seem to discuss GBladder and the pH diet protocal.

I will pass these sites on to her, as well as your suggestion for veggie juices. I may take a look at the CureZone site too, as they do discuss the pH Diet protocol there.

Jen is still in her mid 30's and way too young for all these health problems. :(

Thanks again for your time and research, Ross. :D

Hi pinky, what i advise you today, is post this question on the following website:

www.rawfoodtalk.com

there is an immense source of knowledge there, and I think there is a nice synergy with the website we are now on, and I will try to connect
these synergies.

They have more than 6000 members, and I have seen a lot of hrealthissues discussed there.

Please, if you do post it there, let also know on energiseforlife.com
if the advise you received is helpfull
I am also active there as Lightlover

Hi

LL is right - rawfoodtalk is an excellent resource.

You might also try www.healthypages.net because they have a similarly large range of experts and topics.

Good luck!

I just joined and posted a message on RawFood Talk. Looks like a good site, and a good possible for advice/tips.
I read a number of the LightLover posts - you seem to be fairly active.

HealthyPages didn't look to be as productive for my/********'s needs

Thanks Harith for your kind thoughts. :)

We're just heading into Winter here in the US :( , and it's Brrrrrrrr this morning. Way too early for 30* mornings. My blood hasn't thickened up yet :!:

Hey Pinky

Just a random thought - as you are in the US of A, perhaps it might be worth taking your daughter for a live blood ****ysis to see if there is anything else that might be causing the problems she is experiencing?

Pinky, if you don't get answer at www.rawfoodworld.com at your question,
it will help to "bump up" every week your question.

( I still have a lot to bump up..)

Pinky, I read something at www.mercola.com
(not so good as newstarget.com, to commercial, but still interesting)
(can't find this item back, must be the excellent red wine, with a positive score, but a bad PH!, I hope ross doesn't read this...),
about gallbladder and sleeping, and that this organ is very active at the early hours of sleeping.

Somehowe I feel that even when it is removed, it is important for your doughter to go to bet very early (10 pm, not later than 11 pm)
In the raw food world I read more and more that early bed time and enough rest are at least important as food.
Ross, do you go to bed early?

Yep - I generally don't have a set time I just sleep when I get tired. I am more of an early bird so I am likely sleeping early and up early.

I tend to wake up naturally at around 5:30-6 and I like it this way :)

Mercola is a great site, but he has some slightly strange opinions every now and then. He speaks his mind though which is a good thing.

And to be honest, from looking at both of their business models I would be surprised if newstarget did not make at least as much money, if not more, than mercola.com

******** and her hubby DO go to bed early, LightLover. They're basically country folk, at least Doug and his parents are, raising beef cattle. They also cook and eat like country folk, with Lots of rich foods, biscuits, etc. But are accustomed to up early and in bed early. Tho, Jen does love to sleep in on weekends.

Part of the problem is that Jen is a home-health nurse for the state, and follows an Allopathic belief system. Not big on Natural health practices, and like most following the Allopathic way, feel they know best. I'm considered a Healthnut by all in my family.

Ok Pinky, because of their rich eating and allopatic style, enough resting keeps very important. Because much energy is lost in digestion this has to be compensated by sleeping as well as there has to be enough nighttime for detox.

LL :)
