I'm curious what supplements you all use. I use only green drink with pH drops.

Innerlight has (and Robert O. Young discusses in his books) stuff like soy sprouts powder, various colloidal liquids and capsules, and clay.

Look, for instance at the supplements he recommends for a 10-day cleanse:

Just wondering if any of you have tried these (or others from other companies for that matter) and what your thoughts are on their efficacy and so on. There are so many it seems a pretty bewildering, not mention expensive.

Thanks.

Hi Giles :)

I love Green tea!! But i also use an Elderberry extract to boost my Vit C. Its called Sambucol. Check this link out:

I swear by it, and my whole family are on the stuff too.

Actually, I think the information on the supplements on Dr Youngs page is old material. You can do effective cleansing without having to use many supps at all.

Soy sprouts are essential - they stop you from getting hungry, are an endurance food and a plant protein. When you are transitioning, this product will stop all cravings and keep you going.

The clay is very effective at picking up tox in the gut and releasing it with bowel motions.

The other colloidals are rarely necessary unless you have some sort of specific challenge you want to deal with.

If its candida, I would use Colloidal Silver under the tongue, and some capsule products like Myco Detox.

Hey again guys

I haven't looked into supplements much yet. Is it expensive? Do I need them? Where can I get them in AUstralia?!!!

I was kinda hoping I could get most of the benefits with diet alone?

hi giles-

i use 3 main products:
Liquid Trace Minerals
Alka Slim
Green Barley Grass Juice Powder

Alka Slim is an alkalizing weight loss shake which i use in the morning in place of caffeine cuz it gives me a nice energy boost.

The liquid trace minerals provides me with like 72 minerals or something like that.

And the Green Barley Powder has pretty much all the vitamins, amino acids, alkalizing materials, etc that a person needs.

I take a shaker, add fresh apple cider (mmm mmm), add the trace minerals, green barley powder, and alka slim and shake. takes a bit to get used to the taste, but once i did, it tastes really good. (they say as you get more alkaline, that alkaline foods taste better and better to you)

Hope this helps!

Hi Ric-

You can get a lot of the benefits from foods alone. The only challenge is.... what kind of soil is your food grown in? If it's been depleted then the foods that are grown in that soil won't have all the vitamins and minerals they they used to have. That's where supplements can help. Liquid trace minerals are a great way to get more minerals into your diet and green barley juice powder is a great way to get vitamins and amino acids and alkaline minerals.
