Default Allow me to introduce myself...

...my name is Patch. I'm a Type 2 Diabetic, and am looking to learn all about the Alkaline Diet. I've read Dr. Robert Yound and am going to try a liquid feast of at least 14 days (I'd like to extend this to 21 days if successful).

I'll be looking for hints on which Green Drink Powder to buy (best value for money, highest nutrient content, etc...).

Hi Patch,

First of all welcome to the forum :0).

With regards to green drinks there are quite a few I can recommend, but my ftwo avourite ones are the latest one by Dr Young called 'Doc Broc Power Plants', which is highly nutritious and contains about 20 alkalising ingredients. We have had a lot of great feedback from customers who love the Doc Broc Greens and really feel the benefits like increased energy levels since taking them.

You can look at them here: http://www.energiseforlife.com/item-...ROCGREENS.html

The other one I really like are the 'perfectlyhealthy Mega Greens with MSM', which is one of our most popular green drink and is a great value for money green drink. It contains over 40 alkalising ingredients and is also packed with vitamins and minerals.

You can have a look at the Mega Greens here: http://www.energiseforlife.com/item-...GA_GREENS.html

Overall I can thoroughly recommend both green drinks!

I hope this info helps, but if you have got any other questions please let us know.

Cheers

Bibi

I'd considered adding MSM to a green drink. The benefts of drinking MSM water alone are pretty impressive (MSM makes the cells more "elastic") so drinking MSM with greens should be great stuff... Also, whatr about adding celtic sea salt to green drink? Celtic sea salt has an alkalising effect.

I have a LOT of experimenting to do...

What is this sites view of Dr. Johanna Budwigs research? She also advokates an alkaline diet, but she also advises mixing Linseed/Flaxseed Oil with Quark/Cottage Cheese (both acidic foods).
