Are ionisers cost-saving in the long-run?

They are actually cheap in the long run if compared to regularly buying bottled water and the savings of replacing household cleaning
products with acid water! It only costs £35 per year to replace the filters.

What is the price of the PJ-6000 replacement filter? (This is the internal filter in the VS-70 and Miracle Ionizer)

Replacement PJ-6000 is £39.99.

How often does the PJ -6000 filter need to be replaced?

It needs to be replaced every 20,000 litres (about 10 -12 months).

What are the costs of the C3 pre-filter?

The RRP is £154.99.

How often does the C3 pre-filter need to be replaced?

- Family of 4: replace all 3 filters every 12 months.

- Family of 4-6 heavy use: replace all 3 filters every 8-10 months.

Is it advisable to use a pre-filter together with the ioniser?

A pre-filter is not essential, however it will improve the taste and quality of your water.

Descaling of ioniser

I live in a hard water area so lime scale is a problem. How often do the plates need scaling and what is involved and at what cost please?

The Chanson ionisers have a self-cleaning mechanism so there is no cost involved in this. You can also self-maintain without having
to hire anyone in or spend any money, and we will provide you with the simple instructions on how to do this.

Use citric acid cleaning solution once a year to prevent the plates to clog up with calcium.

Fitting/Plumbing of ioniser

Can I fit the ioniser myself or do I need a plumber?

Chanson Miracle:

You will be able to fit it yourself in less than five minutes. It really is just a case of screwing it onto your tap. Instructions available

VS-70 under counter ioniser:

Definitely recommend a plumber and it will probably take them 1-2 hours to fit.

You will need a 1 3/8 to 1 1/2 inch hole in your sink or countertop to install this under-counter ionizer. Either remove a built-in soap
dispenser or reverse osmosis faucet, use a hole saw to cut a hole, or hire a plumber for the install.

If you cut the hole yourself, you will need a:

- Diamond hole saw to cut granite

- Carbide grit hole saw for cast iron sinks

- Standard bi-metal hole saw to cut a stainless steel sink

Available to everyone is a list of approved plumbers in customer’s area. You just have to go to your local water supplier’s website (severntrentwater.co.uk or eastanglianwater.co.uk etc) and the list is on their site.

What type of tap is needed for the installation of the Miracle ioniser?

The tap doesn’t need to be too modern. It just needs to have a part that you can screw onto (a thread). Even without this, the Miracle
comes with a rubber ‘boot’ that you can put onto the tap that gives this thread and a clamp that keeps it in place.

There are very few taps that you can’t fit this onto. Most taps fitted after 1970 have got this screw part because it became mandatory
to fit the small mesh filter onto the ends of taps. That mesh filter is the part you unscrew to make way for the ionizer tap screw.

General Water FAQ

How long does the ionised water last (e.g. on travels)?

There are 4 components of water:

• pH level lasts about 2-3 weeks in a bottle

• The micro clustering (more hydrating quality) lasts 3-4 days

• Active hydrogen lasts 5-10 mins after the water has been poured

• ORP (anti-oxidant content) lasts for about 8 hours.

Ideal result: Drink ionised water right out of the machine.>

Next best result: keep water on ice/in cool bag.

You can add ice cubes made from ionised water to help keep negative ORP.

Can ionised water be drunk cold?

Yes, drinking the water cold will not affect the qualities of the water.

How much ionised water should I drink per hour?

You should not drink more than 1 litre an hour, as this can overload the kidneys. As a general rule of thumb:

o Maximum amount of ionised water a day: 1oz per pound of body weight.

o Minimum amount of ionised water a day: ½ pound per pound of body weight.

Always check with a doctor and qualified health practitioner before making any changes to your diet.

What are the tiny bubbles in the ionised water?

This is the active hydrogen – the pH level is higher due to higher hydrogen molecules in the water

Do Ionizers help improve health?

Ionisers do not directly treat any condition or disease. They should be seen as a foundational product that provides extremely high
quality water to help overcome:

• Dehydration (ca. 80% of the world population is dehydrated).

• Over-acidification of bodily fluids.

• Premature oxidation of the cells.

Water ionisers are a fundamental product to promote health alongside a healthy diet,regular exercise and deep breathing exercises.

Why is the electrical charge of the water so essential?

Electricity is the missing nutrient in the world. Our body needs an electrical charge to function, but where do we get this charge from?
The foods we eat quickly lose their electrical charge after harvest. Our bodies assimilate electrical active foods better, as our
whole body works on electricity!

Can ionised water revive dead foods?

YES! Ionised water can revive dead fruits and vegetables and give them their electrical charge back. Soak them for 5 mins in ionised water!

ORP (Oxygen Reduction Potential) FAQ

How can the ORP level be measured?

• Put 4 or 5 drops of iodine in ¼ litre of ionised water

• The colour should be clear.

• Put iodine in tap water and it should turn yellow

• The ORP level can also be measured by an ORP meter which is available through Energise For Life.

Can friction affect the ORP of the water?

Yes. Running, shaking of the bottle and travelling can affect the ORP. Fill the bottle to the absolute rim so that there is n emptiness
in the bottle to minimise friction when moving

Water Symptoms FAQ

I have just started drinking ionised water and have got cold and flu like symptoms (e.g. weakness, nausea, and headache). Is this normal?

These usually normal detox symptoms, although it is always recommended that you check with a health professional if you have any concerns – Start drinking the water at the lowest alkaline pH level (Low Alkaline Setting) for the first 10 days etc.. (add and slowly increase over time. Many detox symptoms are a good sign, as there are toxins which needs to be flushed out like acidic waste and chemicals. This is the body’s defence mechanism!

Our weakest body parts stores pollution/acids which are reflected as symptoms/pain in certain weak body parts. These may initially increase, but will eventually decrease as our body flushes out the acidic waste.

Acid water has sterilising and decontamination effects.

• 3 – 4.5 pH: can help with softening of the skin

• 2.5 – 3 pH: can help with serious skin problems

• 4 pH: takes about 1 minute to kill bacteria
