»I love my bellicon trampoline!

 For 8 years now I’ve been using a trampoline daily, except when on holiday or seriously ill. During this time I’ve used 4 different kinds:

 The first one was a cheap one, and very quickly I and my back came to the conclusion that I needed a proper trampoline with a brand name.

 As I wanted to get the best physical and mental effect possible from training on the trampoline for short periods of time, I spent a bit more money on a metal sprung trampoline, only to conclude that my back didn’t feel very comfortable with this either.

 I didn’t give up though and bought a more gentle, metal sprung trampoline with the same brand name and carried on with my daily exercises.

 At some point I heard about the rope ring suspended trampolines from bellicon and asked them to send us one. I got on to the bellicon and felt as if I was on “cloud nine”. To me it was clear; never again will I use another kind of trampoline to get the cells in my body moving. Where I live one would say: “it is the Mercedes amongst trampolines”. I couldn’t have anticipated this, until the bellicon was standing in my living room.

 Both my 13 and 16 year old sons also couldn’t deny the fun factor of the bellicon and continue to use it often. I recently had a quick go on my old metal sprung trampoline and thought: “no, it’s really no good anymore!” Once a bellicon – forever a bellicon!

 And this is how I now enjoy my daily 15-20 minutes on my bellicon, independent of the weather, with good music and with every cell in my body happy!«

Highly elastic due to rope rings!

• Why Rope Rings?

Many years of development and improvement have been invested in our sophisticated rope ring technique. Our trampolines’ unique and worldwide patented suspension doesn’t just look different to the conventional, metal spring trampolines; it also has a lot of advantages:

Perfect, gentle and harmonic swinging

As the biggest demands are always made on the trampolines suspension, it obviously has to be changed (like the sole of a shoe) sooner or later if regularly used. Metal springs break and parts can fly off. Rope rings wear out and become longer. When it becomes necessary, metal springs and trampolines with continuous, long ropes are difficult to change and many users find it too complicated.

So that you don’t have to send your trampoline away when the cords have worn out, we developed the patented rope ring suspension. This makes it easy for you to exchange them and for you to simply adjust your trampoline to the weight of another user at any time.

Quiet training without disruptive additional noise

On metal spring trampolines, metal is constantly rubbing against metal so many users complain about annoying, squeaking noises whilst exercising. With rope ring suspended trampolines however, the cords rub against the frame cover when you swing so they hardly make a sound. The bellicon trampoline rope ring suspension is silent as far as it is possible and thus protects both you and your neighbors’ nerves.

 

• Quality

bellicon mini trampolines are in many ways quite different from others that are available. Just looking at the price, you’ll probably ask yourself why ours are clearly so much more expensive. When however you take a closer look, you’ll immediately notice that the design is totally unlike conventional metal sprung and other rope ring trampolines. Compared to the competition, our devices offer convincing additional benefits and are therefore, despite the higher cost, genuinely “worth the money”.

No one in the mini trampoline business has as much experience with the rope ring suspension as bellicon have, as they have continually been developing and improving this suspension form since 1999. This suspension with individual rope rings which has been tried and tested over and over again and patented several times, together with the use of special fabric for the rebounding mat, is what principally brings about the gentle swing characteristics of their trampoline.

On bellicon mini trampolines you experience a deep and harmonic swing movement that triggers many positive health benefits and at the same time enables deep relaxation. Thanks to the many different rope ring strengths, you can adjust the elasticity of your trampoline to your own needs at any time, quickly and without the use of tools.

The ropes used at bellicon are expandable from 150 to 180% of the original length. This ensures that you are always slowed down gently and not suddenly and abruptly stopped at some stage during the braking phase. Because of the special way the ropes are guided, we have managed to incorporate about twice as much rope length in the suspension than comparable trampolines with continuous ropes have. Our trampolines have between 16 to 23 meters (!) of elastic rope in the fabricated rope rings, through which the strength which is to be intercepted is divided, absorbed and returned. This is how you are almost automatically catapulted back upwards again which explains our trampolines high fun factor.

The unique technique enables the incomparably gentle and harmonic swing that you experience on our trampolines. Compared to jogging or conventional mini trampolines, the level of strain on the joints, spinal discs and bones is much less. At the same time, the deceleration phase is clearly lengthened which makes exercising much more effective.

Despite the relatedness of the devices, the type of exercise done on conventional, metal spring trampolines is completely different: the normal metal springs are very hard and hardly stretch when you jump on the mini trampoline. Even those coil spring trampolines that are sold as “highly flexible” only have a maximum stretch from the stationary position of no more than 30 to 50%. On these much harder trampolines you therefore use your own strength to jump upwards from the mat and although you are slightly cushioned when landing, you are hardly catapulted back upwards again. The rebound effect is therefore much less developed and this kind of exercise is more like jumping on a springy path in the woods than swinging on our highly elastic rope ring trampolines.
