	Made of a tin-plated cast iron body, has a rugged appearance, sturdy construction with no electrical parts. Will give years of use, but care is needed to avoid rusting. (After use, wash and dry thoroughly and oil surfaces with food grade oil.) Comes with two filter screens (stainless steel), clamps onto work surfaces up to 4 cm’s in thickness The Porkert works using the same principle as the Back to Basics. It is rugged in appearance, but the construction is basic and in our opinion it isn’t manufactured to the same standard as the Back to Basics. The Porkert is tin-plated (juicing screen is stainless steel) and care must therefore be taken when drying to ensure it doesn’t rust.
