Energise Blog: Natural Health & Alkaline Diet

So we listened to what you, our visitors, had to say and we have redesigned the homepage based upon your feedback. You wanted:

• A cleaner page
• Less clutter
• Less to divert your attention
• Less repetition
• More updates, more frequently
• Clearer navigation

The end result is this - the New Energise Homepage.

In case you can’t notice the difference, here is what we have done:

• We have removed the right hand column that listed a) a featured product b) out top ten bestsellers c) info about our newsfeed. This information will now be presented in other ways and we felt that it did not need to be a permanent fixture of the homepage. Our newsfeed is now this blog (this is the feed for it), and I will publish our monthly bestsellers here too and possibly on a page within the site too.

  Removing this column has taken a lot of clutter off the page and made a lot of space free for the new home page navigation.

• In the left hand column, we have moved the navigation up right to the top and moved the featured products down. This gives you more quick access to the areas of the site you are after.
• For the main splash on the home page we have put together six panels which are basically portals to other areas of the site, both products and resources. The drop down menus are intended to give you access to the products which correlate with each goal (weight loss, cleanse/detox and energy). This will be adapted as time goes on.
• We have added the RSS feed of this blog to the homepage so that each new post or article that appears here will also appear as a snippet on the home page. This gives you something new to read and learn every day! It is truly a beautiful thing…

The feedback we are receiving via email and the contact form is very positive so far, but if you havent got the time for an email a little comment would be just as good.

We really are still striving 110% to make this place as beneficial to all of you as possible, so if there is something that is bugging you or that you would like to see here please do not be afraid to let us know!
