This is possibly one of the most logically obvious, but bizarre concepts I have ever seen.
Innovative (and I use the term loosely because this is morally peculiar) ‘holiday firm’ Georgeous Getaways are leading the market for the new trend of holidays - the ‘Affordable, Quality Cosmetic Surgery Holidays‘. Odd, I know.
The concept is this:
- Cosmetic surgery is expensive in the UK - this puts people off
- Cosmetic surgery is cheap in Thailand
- People like going on holiday to Thailand
- Put it all together and what have you got? Cosmetic surgery and a holiday to Thailand rolled into one very bizarre trip.
I’ve decided to coin this phenomenon Holimetic Surgery (or Holimetics if you like).
Anyway, I am sure that lots of people will be interested in this and that the company are going to make a few pretty pennies (or cents, in their Australian division). I think that it is absolutely ridiculous and I can equally see there being some big, big problems and law suits in the near future.
What do you make of it?
