Phew - I only just scraped this one in by the skin of my teeth (what an odd phrase, I felt compelled to find out where it came from! - you’ve just gotta love the Internet!). Although I am writing this at 10:30 am where I am on Friday, it is still Thursday in the UK. So this does indeed qualify as a THDBR.
Next week I promise to do this by a margin of at least six hours.
- Fat Bitch Blog - Holly has only been running this blog for a short while, but it has got a great feeling already. This week she has taken on and ditched the Cosmo diet. What I like about this blog is that she isn’t stressing out about the little things and getting stuck in details. She is just trying to eat healthier foods and exercise more. It will be great to see how she gets on.
- What Does a Vegan Eat Anyway - I could post this one every week, but have done today because I like the look of the raw leek soup that they have posted.
- Eugine Thong at ETF Wellness makes a nice post about fundamentals. It reminds me of what Tony Robbins discusses on one of his programs about practicing the fundamentals daily to become an expert. Although Eugines post is about Jiu Jitsu, this lesson can easily be applied to other areas including health and nutrition and most certainly to other forms of exercise.
- Steve Pavlina blogged about a phenomenon he calls Social Drag - when you make a significant personal shift, but it takes a while for those around you to come to terms with it. This is particularly true when you make a big shift in your lifestyle - people will still offer you cakes and biscuits no matter what you do!
Have a great Friday and a great Weekend one and all - and if you found any of the above posts interesting of helpful - why not blog about them yourself or leave a comment below?!
