So I have woken up a year older today than I was yesterday! The sun is shining and the sky is blue and although I am still staring at a computer screen like on any other day at least it will be sunny when I get outside later.
So how have I started my Birthday – with greens of course! I know, I am a health geek. In fact, I have got two huge bottles racked up on my desk giving me four litres to enjoy.
I also got some very cool presents today. From my lovely girlfriend I got:
- A Navman – which is a personal GPS for when you are running – it tracks exactly where you are and where you have come from so that you can accurately see how far you have run/walked/skated etc. I am really getting into 10k (haven’t got the time for another marathon) so being able to accurately measure speed over a specific distance will be amazing! Can’t wait to try it out!
- An electric razor (Braun) – which will shave minutes off my get-ready-in-the-morning-time (brilliant pun there, I think you will agree)
- A dermalogica skin kit – I know…
- A $50 gift voucher at my favourite music store, Leading Edge in Mosman
- A NSW Lottery Gift Set – I won $6 on the scratch card which will buy me a whole extra 3 scratch cards – if you don’t see another blog post it means I won big!
- Some English fudge (don’t tell anyone)
And from our friends who have been kipping in our spare room for the past week, Mark and Helen, I got a Spanish Guitar Flamenco Tuition Book! So if you don’t see another blog post it means I have run off with a Spanish dance troupe.
Anyway, so it has been a great day so far! I hope the other ‘coolest people on earth’ who were born on the 21st April (including my Aunt Sharon and the Queen of England) are having a groovy day too!

Hey Tincap!
Yep the Navman was an awesome gift – I have taken it out for a spin a couple of times and it is so good!
I have also been using my dermalogica set and I have to say, my skin is very soft and smooth now – so if that was the intention then it has also been a good gift!
As for the fudge…if you are referring to me as the navman, then yes, it has been powering me for two days now…heh
Just visited your site too – looks like you have got some really great posters and ideas over there!
Cheers John! Hope you all had a day that was as good as mine!
That Navman is nice gift! Wow!
What’s with the derma thingy?!
How does the fudge work with the Navman? Is it fudge powered?
