The past week has been Bumper with a capital B…and a capital UMPER and so the THDBR could be a biggie this week. Let’s see how we go:
- Cooking With Ginger: gives us a humourous start with this random find from Marks & Spencer. Indeed, what is the world coming to…?
- Everyones favourite Fat Bitch: has made a wise decision to kick the low carb dieting to the curb. Good on ‘yer. I do hope, however, that in her Low Calorie, Low Fat diet she is still getting some good fats in there – Holly if you’re reading: they do actually help you lose weight
- Dr J: as prolific as ever, Dr Mercola has two great posts this week. Firstly, he blogs about the new research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association that found Americans spend twice as much on health care yet are generally in poorer health than us Brits.
He also blogs to warn us all about another unbelievable example of food manufacturers getting away with blatantly lying to us, the public about the healthiness of their products. This is really worth a read.
- BeerBellyBlog: also on the ABSOLUTE MUST READ list of the week is this awesome post from beerbellyblog.com about ‘Excuse Busters’ – the techniques we can use when we are scraping around for an excuse not to go on that run/walk/gym session/salad bar excursion etc.
- Karen: and last but not least, Karen Knowler of Fresh Network (and Radio 4) fame blog about the first phase of the revamped Fresh Network website. Check it out – it sure does look fresh!
And another week is done!
As ever let us know if you have seen a particularly interesting or insightful blog/post this week!

Hi Ross,
Right now I’m not feeling too wonderful about myself OR my eating plan. I will be spending today contemplating what’s best for me to do.
I really appreciate your talking about my blog and I think yours is just excellent. Take care of yourself.
