Where Have I Been?

by Ross on August 28, 2006

Hello everyone.

Yes, indeed it has been 7 days since my last post (which is honestly a record) and I admit I was even more prolific than this when I was on holiday, but I do have some fairly decent reasons! Honest! Now I am not so self-absorbed to believe that anyone gave a monkeys that I have not posted for a few days, so this is almost justification to myself.

So what have I been up to?

  • Hardcore work on the site. We are in the closing stages of a huge and brilliant project on the main Energise site – which will be well worth the wait!
  • Looking after my girlfriend who has had laryngitis – she’s been giving way too many lectures lately.
  • I have been working hard on our UPW package and making sure that everything is in the right place for all of the dudes and dudettes who are coming along to UPW as part of Team Energise.
  • The Forum – has been taking up a fair bit of time, smoothing out glitches and bugs, tidying up attempted spam and making sure it is all running well for the nice posse of people already calling it home. Shouts go out to Mike, Clarkey, Harith, Bobby and Giles.
  • I’ve been meeting lots of people lately too, most notably Priscilla from Bouncing for Breast Cancer (more on that shortly) – and Meggan Brummer – an incredible Yoga & Meditation instructor. I’m hopefully going to be working with those girls a lot more in the near future…
  • I have also stepped up my own fitness and training routine in the last two weeks which has taken up a lot of my morning and evening (and most lunchtimes) slots in which I would normally have been blogging – so I have got to reshuffle my daily planner!
  • And I am also very tired from getting up incredibly early in the morning to watch some very inept Tottenham performances.

So, sorry – but normal service will be resumed shortly…
