Diet Blog Round-up (THDBR) #22

THDBR

OK – so without any further delay – here is my weekly round up of what has happened in the world of health this week – from the perspective of the blogosphere:

  • Holly at FatBitch – has now seen another great weight loss week through. Congrats to her! The reason why I am blogging this is because last week she gave herself some slack and had a day off to congratulate herself for all of her hard work – and guess what? Her motivation is back up, her happiness is up and she is kicking even more ass. Congrats Holly.
  • Raw Foodster Karen – gets congratulations this week too – as she has finally been able to launch and celebrate her new website: The Raw Food Coach. There has been so much thought and hard work that has gone into this site that it really does put the rest of us to shame! Now, I have urged you before, but I am going to urge you again – SIGN UP TO HER WEEKLY EZINE!
  • Real Muscle Online – weigh in (heh heh) with a couple of posts which I’m glad I found this week. I love this blog! Firstly, a great post about squats and secondly – they bring a new blog to our attention called Real Chi which although a little bit advert laden – already has a couple of great posts.
  • Along these lines – Mercola – points us to some nice research showing that Tai-Chi can help aid those with Type 2 Diabetes.
  • Run FatAss Run (I still laugh at that every time) – has written up a good review of an awesome product – the AllSportsGPS – which is a data gathering device that tracks your progress while you exercise. The twist is that it runs on your mobile phone! RFR’s review is here – and the product is here.
  • At Nutritional Wellness, Gilberto points us to some research on soy which provides some balance for the recurrence of the soy-bashing trend which is happening at the moment.
  • And in true Regina-essay-length-posting-styleee – Regina gives us a rundown and some very interesting perspectives following the 10th Internation Congress on Obesity in Sydney.
  • And last but certainly not least – Amyella presents us with one of the best classified adverts of all time – recently posted on craigslist.org. Quality.

…and that’s all folks!

Hi Karen!

No problem – I wouldn’t have posted it if I didn’t believe that it was great! You’ve clearly done a LOT of work to make this as useful and beneficial as possible for your visitors, so you deserve a giant hat tip for that.

Have a great day and come and say hi again soon!

Ross
