Firstly, many apologies for the week delay in bringing you #24. My excuse is valid - I was busy bustin’ my ass to write the UPW Momentum workbook - yep, all 84 pages of it - in time for when everyone got home from UPW on Monday afternoon. So there. That’s why.
BUT - I still bookmarked all of my favourite posts and so here they are, intertwangled with #25:
- Straight up - Priscilla at B4B gives us 33 healthy ways that the body responds to rebounding. And if anyone knows about rebounding it’s Priscilla. After all, she’s bounced over a MILLION times.
- Jim reports on the Consumer Reports report of the top 20 weight loss sites - worth checking some of them out.
- Gym Bunny Did It! - she ran the Berlin Marathon! A massive well done from Energise to you! It is a mammoth post but well worth a read as it is massively inspiring. Well done again.
- And hot on her heels for inspiration of the fortnight is Fat Bitch who has now lost 40 pounds! Well don Holly! You’ve inspired and made us laugh a hell of a lot over the last six months or so - come by and say hi soon!
- On a slightly different tack - Steve reviews and makes me want to buy the Photo Reading system! Honestly this looks ace!
- In The Health Blog - Ryan makes a great post about an often overlooked piece in the weight loss jigsaw. I’m not going to say what it is but ask you if you would like to know something that makes you look great and makes you lose fat at the same time?
- Veggie Chic explains what a flexitarian is - it is ‘a person who consumes mainly vegetarian food but occasionally eats meat or fish’ i.e. my girlfriend. I can’t wait to tell her that. I am glad that this word exists because it will give a lot of people a label or a group, something to call themselves - because I know a lot of people who don’t feel comfortable calling themselves vegetarians, but are not really your normal meat eater either. Well, chaps and chapesses - you’re all a bunch of flexitarians - now eat (occasional meat) and be merry! Sorry, I digress. But this is a great blog that I have only just found so go check it!
- ‘fridge Raid - gives us the lowdown on spinach alternatives, which is obviously a hot topic for all of you who are Stateside. For us Euro’s it is just a great list to remind us of all of the lovely veggies out there!
- And finally, RunFatAssRun seems to be working on a new project called Hundred Day Headstart. At least I think it is his. Maybe FatAss should get in touch with us here as I would be more than happy to profile it and promote it ‘cos it looks pretty cool so far!
And that’s all! Hope you’re all well and happy. If you went to UPW don’t forget to keep on keepin on and don’t lose that momentum you built up!
Have a smashin weekend - Ross
