There are just a couple of short weeks until UPW and it is about this time that people start to panic about accomodation!

I have been in a breif conversation with a couple of people over at the Tony Robbins forums who are desperately trying to find accomodation near ExCeL which is inevitably hard to come by.

So I am hoping to be some sort of matchmaker!

• If you have got a spare bed in your room and are looking for a room mate - let us know!
• If you have got a spare sofabed and live nearby - let us know!
• If you bought a hotel room but now don’t need it - let us know!
• If you have a ticket and accomodation but now can’t make it - let us know!

OR

• If you are all ticketed up but with nowhere to sleep - let us know and we can try and pair you up!!!

If you do have a spare bed or a spare room somewhere this could be a great way to a) get to know someone likeminded and share the event and b) get to save some of the money on your room/ticket.

Obviously we cannot be liable for any of this as all we are doing is posting this and then letting you make your arrangements in the comments and via email/mobile phone!

Hi,

We have booked the Ibis hotel in East Barking which includes free parking and breakfast for an additional £4.95 if wanted. The hotel is about 5km from Excel and looks very straightforwarded to get to by car (just off the A406 North Circular), according to a route planner.

They have a 3 night weekend deal, so we booked a room through their webiste for 2 people starting on the Friday for 3 nights which came to £49.50 per night. Individual nights are £66 according to their website but when I phoned them I was quoted £54 so double check with them: www.accorhotels.com

I rang Excel to enquire about their parking charges and was quoted £15 for 9-15 hours and £21 for 24 hours. So if you manage to get out of Excel within 15 hours it sounds reasonable compared to taking taxis.
