The Thursday Health & Diet Blog Roundup is gathering more steam - last weeks was the 2nd most viewed post this month! Maybe it is people just ego-surfing to see what is being written about them on Technorati or Google, but hey - I don’t care. As long as you keep lookin’, I’ll keep postin’

  1. Amyella: turned 30 this week (happy birthday!) and took some time to reflect on what this meant and how it felt! She touches on an exercise that I think is really important to take every now and then: to picture your self 5 years from now, 10 years from now, 20 years from now and then when you are 90 - from two perspectives. The first perspective being your future self if you continued life as you are living it now and the second perspective being your future self if you followed through on all of your plans and goals and all the promises you have made to yourself. It can be quite motivating!
  2. Jim: makes a hyper-useful post about 6 ways in which you can improve your diet at work. I love posts like this. I think my two favourite suggestions are 1) to leave the office for a good walk at lunchtime and 2) to swap your morning coffee for herbal/green tea as often as possible!
  3. Holly has two great posts: firstly (and this is from last week - not sure how I missed it) she blogs a plea to parents to feed their kids as healthily as possible. Secondly, she sparks some great conversation about why we want to be thin.
  4. BSN over at RunFatAssRun: then continues this conversation over at his own blog in relation to his own goals. It all makes for some pretty compelling and thought provoking reading!

So there you have it! Some informational, some thought provoking and some just plain interesting stuff going on in the blogosphere this week. If you’re reading this, check back again tomorrow as I might add a few more if I come across more interesting riffs. I get the feeling there are some out there!
