Just a quick one to let you know that I’ve created a full-on, proper Facebook page/group/hub!
I’ve had a profile up on there for a while now, but it is pretty clear that having a page is the best way for me to keep in touch with everyone, let you know what is happening at energiseforlife.com and the rest of the health world/blogosphere.
So, either click here or on the image to the right to visit, sign up and follow us!
I promise to give you:

Hey all
Just a quick update! I know I have not posted on my book challenge yet, but fear not I am onto book 3! The first two (4 Hour Work Week & The Prince) were amazing. Especially the 4 Hour Work Week - totally life changing, and I will post asap. I’m now onto Freakonomics. Also brilliant so far!
So, there will be limited posting again for the next week as Callum and I are off to Date with Destiny on the Gold Coast in Australia! For those that do not know - DWD is a 6 day Tony Robbins extravaganza, almost like a UPW x2!

Hello there!
I love reading because I love learning and developing. However, I still find myself going through phases when I kind of stop reading - for weeks on end! So I am hereby challenging myself to read 26 books over the next 52 weeks.

I have had a long think about the contradiction of this situation - I love learning, reading is a great way to learn and it gives me such a great feeling of satisfaction - so how come I can go through long periods without picking up a book? I think the answer is twofold:

The Energise blog is back in business.
We’ve had one hell of a busy ride over the last six months and we’re expanding quicker than ever. As such a few things took a bit of a back seat and the blog was sadly one of them. I guess we’re still coming to terms with everything because we are still a relatively new, small business who is finding it’s feet. Now that we’ve got the management of the business coping with our new found success we have put the extra resources and processes in place to allow me to continue blogging! Hooray! It really is probably the part of this job that I enjoy the most, so I am glad to be back onto it!

Hey all
Just three weeks to go until C2S! I can’t believe how quickly it has come around, although having said that, this year is flying by so quickly it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise.
Anyway, for those that don’t know - City 2 Surf is Sydney’s (and possibly Australia’s) biggest fun run. Starting at College Street in the city and winding 14k through Kings Cross, up onto South Head Road, through Rose Bay and ending up at Bondi beach.

I generally save my ’shout out’ posts for specific, excellent stuff and this is certainly one of them.
These Come From Trees is a really simple, but incredibly effective ‘ guerrilla public service announcement’ which is doing great things for our environment.
The concept is simple: when people are reminded about their ability to act responsibly, they usually do. So tapping into this, These Come From Trees sell packs of the sticker (over there to your right) which you can then use to stick in the right place (see their flickr for examples).

Whenever I find a blog I like I write it down in a special little notebook. Which I then forget about for weeks on end. But then when I remember it again it is extremely cool - so from now on I am just going to blog them as I go along!
So here are some blogs I have recently found that I think are pretty cool! Most are health & personal development related, but there are a few random ones there too:

I was just reading Steve Pavlina’s blog (a great way to kill some time) and I came across some of his reasons for being a vegan. This made me think about my own reasons for being vegetarian. And, I guess, then - why I am not vegan (in a way).
Like Steve - I am definitely not on a mission to ‘convert’ anyone, and thankfully my friends have always known and understood this. In fact, there are very few things that get my goat more than when people try to goad me into an argument. Having said that, I always take great smugness and pleasure in not rising to their bait - partly because some of their quips are often funny.

Just this morning I have by chance stumbled onto Sol Shah’s blog. How did it catch my attention? Presumably, if you are reading this then you already know - with a very catchy headline.
The two questions that immediately sprang to mind are ‘how’ and ‘why’! Rather than misinterpret everything - I will let Sol explain:
Why?
