After a LOT of issues with spam, we’ve changed provider, redesigned, upped security and are ready to rock and roll once again.

Hi everyone
I’ve literally just managed to get the comments fixed, delete (by hand) the 18000+ spam comments and approve the good comments from the last three months.
And boy, there were some really great comments left. I sincerely apologise to everyone who took the time to leave me a message. Some of them are amazing and really heartwarming. Thank you.
I will get around to answering all of them as soon as I possibly can.

Hi all.
Just a quick post to let you know that fighting the spam attack on the forum is top of the agenda at the moment. It has become increasingly time consuming, demoralising and frustrating but we are determined to beat it!
I can only apologise for some of the content that has appeared over the past little while and fully appreciate that many of you have young families and do not want to worry about the content that could be seen on a normally trustworthy website.

Hey guys
Just a quick post. Lots of people are looking for one single place to find all of the information they need. I’ve tried to do this as much as possible (see our health resources page, or check the links in the sidebar of this blog) - but Squidoo is a great way to do this too.
So I’ve quickly knocked together an alkaline diet Squidoo lens which lists all of my starter resources alongside a few youtube clips about alkalising, links to some great books on the subject (all profits go to Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation) and links to our newest resources and other great blogs.

After two months of torrential spam, we’ve finally got the forum cleaned, secured and running again!
It has been hard and it has been heartbreaking, but finally the problem has been solved. We tried a lot of different things over the past 3 months or so and came within a whisker of calling it a day and shutting the forum down, but thankfully we perservered and now its all fresh, clean and great again!
A massively massive thanks to everyone who posted and emailed with suggestions, supportive cheers and general help - without that we’d never have cracked it.

It went very quickly, but this year’s Christmas and New Year’s was great. I took a full 10 days with no computer/Internet whatsoever and gave my eyes, my mind and my spirit a much needed break!
Anyway, I am back again now so normal service will be resumed. As you can imagine there are a billion things to catch up with not only on the blog, but also in the forum and with the shop so my blogging is still going to be intermittent for a week or so.

Sorry, sorry, sorry!
I have not posted in over a week. Not because I didn’t want to, or because I don’t care - but because I lost the entirety of the blog for a few days and had trouble getting the backup back up. It was a scary time - but thankfully I kept on writing so that once I had the blog back up and running again I had a few posts to put up.
As it stands there are about a dozen posts that are about 70-80% done (some which will probably never see the light of day ‘cos I don’t really like ‘em!)

Hello everyone.
Yes, indeed it has been 7 days since my last post (which is honestly a record) and I admit I was even more prolific than this when I was on holiday, but I do have some fairly decent reasons! Honest! Now I am not so self-absorbed to believe that anyone gave a monkeys that I have not posted for a few days, so this is almost justification to myself.
So what have I been up to?
- Hardcore work on the site. We are in the closing stages of a huge and brilliant project on the main Energise site - which will be well worth the wait!

Just a very quick post - the 10 Most Popular Posts Tool is now fixed, well, I have recreated it by hand…
So now - if you scroll down a little and look on your right I am now providing:
- 5 Most Popular Posts (this week) - which runs from Thursday - Thursday
- 5 Most Popular Posts (of all time) - which I update weekly
I think these statistics will be more accurate and a bit more meaningful. Let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions!
