There are just a couple of short weeks until UPW and it is about this time that people start to panic about accomodation!
I have been in a breif conversation with a couple of people over at the Tony Robbins forums who are desperately trying to find accomodation near ExCeL which is inevitably hard to come by.
So I am hoping to be some sort of matchmaker!

Tony Robbins has revamped his UPW mini-site with newer, more up-to-date information. I like the fact that he has thought a little more about the type of information people are looking for - but I’m not sure about some of the colour scheme!!!
Normally I don’t blog to just point out another blog post - but I really liked this post I just stumbled upon. It is about focus and attitude (in this case regarding our jobs/money) - and I have learned a lot and remembered a lot from just reading through it once.
Head on over and see what you think - could you use this to change the way you think?
A big part of what Tony Robbins proposes is based around health, nutrition and fitness. At his flagship live event, Unleash the Power Within he dedicated the whole of the last day to health - and finishes by setting his Ten Day Challenge.
The premise of the Ten Day Challenge is to heed the following advice:
- Vital Breathing
Learn the breathing techniques that increase your aerobic capacity, boost your energy and detoxify your lymph system
- Living Waters and Live Food
Ensure that you consume at least three litres of quality, alkaline water per day and that 70% of food consumed is alkalising and high-water content

As you may or may not know, Energise for Life was founded after myself and my brother Callum attended Unleash the Power Within (UPW) in June 2003. We are, therefore, very passionate about this event and the difference it can make to peoples lives. I had read a lot of Tony Robbins’ books and done his CD courses such as Personal Power II and Get the Edge before, but this four-day event really galvanised my learning and brought everything together. In short - everything suddenly made sense.

This is a great interview. I think that Larry is a fan as it would be very easy for an interviewer to try and make Tony look like a schmuck (try being the operative word) - so I am glad that they gave him the chance to talk and share some ideas! From 30th December 2005:
Remember, Tony is on his way to the UK soon for the Unleash the Power Within (UPW) event. I have not got the time or brain-space to tell you all about UPW right here in this post but rest assured it is a great event. I suppose a good testimony to that fact is that all Energise staff are sent down to UPW every year as it makes an incredible difference to their lives.
This is the question on everyones lips - it was cheesy, but you loved it! But now you can’t remember what they were, or perhaps even more infruriatingly, you can remember how the tunes go - but can’t remember what they are called.
EDIT 2007!!! Thanks to laineyb in the forum for pointing out a few new additions including Sandstorm and More Than a Feeling (a classic!) - all have been added to the list!

So you’ve done the firewalk, youve high-fived your hands sore and you have danced like a lunatic to some of the 1990’s best chart hits (and somehow developed a newfound respect for Haddaway and 2 Unlimited?!).
How does it feel?
If you have never been to UPW, that must sound like the most bizarre of weekends! While it is a bizarre weekend, it is also one of the best you will ever have.
But what now? Hopefully you have managed to keep your workbooks in-tact, and your FireWalk certificate only slightly bent and dog-eared - but now it is time to take what you have learned and put it into action.

Just a quick one to wish all of you who are going to UPW London the very best.
If you are a UPW vetran I hope you give it 110% and still play full-out! If this is going to be your first time then please remember to take your open mind with you, go with the flow, give it everything and have a great time.
UPW was one of the best weekends of my life and if I were not in Australia then I would most certainly be there with the rest of the Energise for Life gang!
